The Disneyland Resort is chock-full of don’t miss snacks. Grabbing a bite to eat there has never been dull (sparkly Mickey beignets, anyone?), but with the grand opening of the new Pixar Pier at California Disney Adventure slated for June 23 and a half dozen new Pixar-themed food venues with it, it’s about to get even more delicious (and Foodstagram-worthy) in the Happiest Place on Earth.
Here are a few new culinary delights visitors can indulge in this summer:
It’s Lemon
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, Pixar Pier
Three words: Lemon. Dole. Whip. The park’s signature treat is getting a new and highly anticipated flavor profile. You will be able to enjoy the citrus soft-serve dipped in white chocolate or in a blue slushy parfait.
Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums
Incredicoaster Snack Spot, Pixar Pier
The youngest member of the Incredibles family loves his num nums (if you’ve seen The Incredibles 2, you know exactly what happens if you take away his cookies!). You can find out what the fuss is about when you make a quick stop there on your way to or from riding the Incredicoaster.
Angry Dogs
Angry Dogs Hot Dog Stand, Pixar Pier
The hot-headed emotion from Inside Out headlines this food kiosk, which features the same delicious hot dogs it always had at Paradise Pier. But this time, with more feeling.
Señor Buzz Churros
Señor Buzz Churros, Pixar Pier
This reimagined kiosk also serves the same sugary fare it did previously on Paradise Pier. But it’s Toy Story-themed now, to honor the space-aged hero’s brief stint in Spanish mode during Toy Story 3.
Poultry Palace Turkey Legs
Poultry Palace, Pixar Pier
Also a nod to the Toy Story franchise, the former Turkey Leg kiosk will now bring to life the fictional fast food joint from an episode of the Toy Story Toon series. And by bring it to life, we mean it actually looks like a giant kids’ meal.
Pixarfest Treats
Throughout the Disneyland Resort
From now through September 3, park-goers can enjoy a number of special treats exclusively available during Pixarfest, a resort-wide celebration of all things digitally animated. That includes Toy Story Alien Macarons and strawberry funnel cakes, Finding Nemo and Finding Dory cake pops, Monsters, Inc. Sully popcorn buckets and color-changing noodles (just add a spritz of lime!), Up Fried-ricksen Bologna Sandwiches and Coco Churros.
