From free activities to big-name concerts, catch a host of fun events across the Bay Area before Super Bowl LX—no game ticket required
Posted 18 hours ago

Super Bowl LX turns the San Francisco Bay Area into a weeklong celebration—one that stretches far beyond just the Feb. 8 game day at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium.

From free fan festivals and headline concerts to food events and immersive art experiences, Super Bowl Week offers something for all football lovers—even if you don’t have tickets to the game.

Taking place in cities across the region, including San Francisco, San Jose, and Santa Clara, Super Bowl LX Week runs from Feb. 2–8, 2026, with events happening daily. Use this guide to find game details and all the best live events, interactive exhibits, and concerts for Super Bowl LX, plus get tips on where to eat and how to get around the San Francisco area.

Pre-Game Events Around the Bay Area

Whether you’re attending the game or just coming for the football vibes, there’s no shortage of fan-centric activities in San Francisco and San Jose. To make the most of it, download the NFL OnePass app to view the full calendar of festivities and purchase tickets or register for events.

Super Bowl Week touches down on Feb. 2 at the San Jose Convention Center, where the free-admission, family-friendly Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade will feature appearances by both teams' players and coaches. (Register for the limited-space event on the NFL OnePass app.)

After opening night, stick around for the Big Game Opening Night Concert at San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Then, watch The Big Game Opening Drone Show light up the sky in San Jose’s SoFA District.

From Feb. 3–7, Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco will be the site of the Bay Area Host Committee’s Fan Zone—an all-ages fan festival where you can watch live performances and check out interactive NFL exhibits and Bay Area food and culture.

Play games and shop at the family-friendly Super Bowl Experience presented by Jersey Mike's at the Moscone Center (also Feb. 3–7). Expect player appearances, an official NFL Shop, photo ops with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, a 40-yard dash against virtual NFL players, memorabilia exhibits, and giveaways (get tickets for admission using the NFL OnePass app).

Super Bowl Weekend Concerts

The Super Bowl’s focus may be touchdowns and field goals, but music gets its moment during the week—and well before Charlie Puth sings the national anthem and Bad Bunny does the halftime show. On Friday, Feb. 6, San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture will host “Bud Light Presents Post Malone & Buddies” (fans ages 21 and up can win free tickets here).

The all-ages BAHC Live! Concert Series, at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, also begins on Friday, Feb. 6, with a performance by Martin Garrix and special guest Lost Frequencies. The series continues on Saturday, Feb. 7, with a concert from country and Americana stars Chris Stapleton and Sierra Ferrell.

Enjoy more unforgettable music on Friday and Saturday at San Francisco’s iconic Palace of Fine Arts, where the Super Bowl LX Studio 60’s concert series will take place. Headliner Sting plays on Feb. 6; the music continues on Super Bowl Eve with a performance by The Killers.

Meet Football Greats and Feast at Taste of the NFL

The night before the Big Game, get your fill of fantastic cuisine at Taste of the NFL (Feb. 7), a 21+ foodie and football experience at San Francisco’s grand ballroom and former bank, The Hibernia. Mingle with NFL greats as you taste dishes by renowned chefs paired with fine wines and spirits.

Soak Up Bay Area Art at the NFL Culture Hub

Experience live performances, art installations, and brand collaborations at NFL Culture Club—a celebration of sports, art, fashion, and community culture. The four-day event will run from Feb. 4–7 at San Francisco’s The Pearl.

Catch the 2026 Pro Bowl Games in San Francisco

Even if you don’t have Super Bowl tickets, you can watch NFL legends play at the 2026 Pro Bowl Games on Feb. 3 at the Moscone Center. For the first time ever, this AFC vs. NFC showdown moves to the NFL’s biggest week of the year. This event will feature 88 top NFL players competing in a 7-on-7 flag football game rather than a tackle game.

Game Day: Watch the Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium

See the AFC and NFC champions face off on football’s biggest night at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. This state-of-the-art venue just outside San Jose is home to the San Francisco 49ers and regularly hosts a range of large sporting events and concerts (this won’t be the stadium’s first Super Bowl—it also hosted in 2016). The massive venue offers tours year-round and even has its own onsite museum.

If you have tickets to the Big Game, arrive early for pre-game festivities, including American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth singing the national anthem.

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. PT.; award-winning Puerto Rican global recording artist Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. After the game clock runs out, celebrate at Hayes Mansion’s epic Post Game Bash, held in its Black & Reds Speakeasy in San Jose.

If you can’t attend the game, but want to be close to the action, head to San Jose’s Santana Row for its Super Row Big Game Tailgate. Expect special dining options, themed cocktails, live DJs, and a massive outdoor watch party—just minutes from Levi’s Stadium.

Where to Eat Near Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara

Want to grab a bite before the game in Santa Clara? Head to Clara’s Junction, an indoor-outdoor restaurant and bar that’s less than a half mile from the stadium gates. The space hosts football watch parties and has a large outdoor garden with firepits, lawn games, and music—plus, there’s pit BBQ and a taco truck parked on weekends.

Less than a mile from the stadium is a small strip mall with other casual dining options, including HiroNori Craft Ramen and a branch of the Santa Cruz favorite Pizza My Heart. Or head downtown, a little less than 2 miles away, to Santa Clara Square Marketplace and grab tacos at Puesto or local craft beers at Barebottle Brewing Company.

How to Get to Levi’s Stadium and Super Bowl Events

If you’re staying in San Francisco and want to reach Levi’s Stadium via public transportation, take Caltrain from San Francisco to Santa Clara’s Mountain View station. From there, transfer to the VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) Orange Line Light Rail; get off at the Great America Station located on the north side of Levi’s Stadium.

You can also take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the Milpitas Station, then transfer to the VTA Orange Line towards Mountain View, exiting at the Levi’s Stadium stop.

Coming from the greater Northern California region? The Capitol Corridor trains provide service to Levi’s Stadium from Auburn, Rocklin, Roseville, Sacramento, Davis, Suisun, Fairfield, Martinez, Richmond, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Hayward, Santa Clara, Fremont/Centerville, and San Jose. From the station, it’s a quick walk to the stadium.

How to Turn Super Bowl Week into a Bay Area Getaway

Come for the Super Bowl, stay for the Bay Area. Find post-game entertainment in San Jose at the city’s spookiest landmark, Winchester Mystery House. Shop nearby at Santana Row and stop for local bites at the San Pedro Square Market. Be sure to stop to smell the flowers in the Municipal Rose Garden

Or take a short drive down to Santa Cruz, which has both redwood forests (don’t miss Big Basin Redwoods State Park) and a timeless beach scene and amusement park at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Spend a few days in the City by the Bay to discover its most popular attractions. Fill up on sourdough and fresh seafood at Fisherman’s Wharf, then get a sweet treat at the Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience in historic Ghirardelli Square. Cruise across San Francisco Bay by ferry to tour Alcatraz, the infamous former prison that’s now a national park site.

Don’t miss walking or biking across the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marin Headlands, or just take in San Francisco’s best coastal vistas at Lands End. Learn more about the city’s history at beautiful landmarks like the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts and the Presidio
