Anyone who's traveled to an unfamiliar area with the intention of experiencing as much as possible knows how invaluable the knowledge of a local can be. There is no better resource, and having it can make the difference between a ho-hum trip and truly memorable one.

It's the mission of each of the 21 California Welcome Centers scattered throughout the state to enable all visitors to have the best experience possible, and they take that local-is-best approach to heart. Each one is staffed with personal travel concierges, knowledgeable experts ready to provide information to enhance and enrich your visit no matter what your focus --the arts, local culture, or ecological crossroads.

Amenities at each center include:

  • Concierge Services - each center is staffed by local experts ready to help you plan your visit
  • Free maps, guides, and brochures
  • Gift Shop – selling local souvenirs
  • Restrooms
  • RV Parking/Bus Parking
  • KultureCity sensory bags available for loan (All 22 centers are certified via www.kulturecity.org)
Visit each location’s page to learn about their unique offerings.
