Pebble Beach Food & Wine

Get ready for the Central Coast’s ultimate gathering of the culinary world. First launched in 2008, Pebble Beach Food & Wine is one of those star- and spectacle-studded experiences you simply have to splurge on at least once in your life. In an oceanfront setting as flawless as an elegant Pinot Noir, Pebble Beach Food & Wine has been crowned by the Los Angeles Times as “one of the more exclusive food-and-wine festivals in the state.”

The festival lets you mingle with a head-swiveling line-up of top toques and winemakers.

If culinary megastars like Tyler Florence and Daniel Boulud rock your world, then you have found your foodie nirvana. Interactive events and dazzling parties let you rub shoulders with dozens of big-name and Michelin-starred chefs—many from top California restaurants, including Ludo Lefebvre of Trois Mec and Kyle Connaughton of Sonoma’s Single Thread. Enjoy lively cooking demos, special wine and food pairings, and splashy special events like the Opening Night Reception. This signature showstopper transforms the magnificent Inn at Spanish Bay into a culinary Shangri-La, with delicacies from 20 of the weekend’s top chefs and wines from 100 of the world’s top producers

But Pebble Beach Food & Wine has more than dazzling kitchen skills and fabulous pourings. Expert-led seminars let you boost your food and wine IQ, with topics ranging from caviar-and-bubbly pairings to talks on the best wines to serve with tacos or mac ’n’ cheese. With the festival’s location on the edge of some of the most scenic golf courses in the world (and home to the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am), it’s no surprise that the festival presents a Celebrity Chef & Winemaker Golf Tournament—and there’s plenty of time to book your own tee times too.

Pebble Beach lodging options include Inn at Spanish Bay, the stately Lodge at Pebble Beach, and the intimate, Mediterranean-style Casa Palmero at Pebble Beach. You can buy tickets to most events a la carte—but they tend to sell out fast, so reserve your spot ASAP.
