A Dodgers Fan’s Guide to Los Angeles

Celebrate the Dodgers throughout Los Angeles with fan-centric eats, murals, immersive experiences and more

Ever since the Los Angeles Dodgers relocated from Brooklyn to sunny California in 1958, their blue and white colors have flown proudly across the city. Looking for the perfect way to celebrate the Dodgers, watch games, or find a fans-only special snack in the City of Angels after you’ve visited Dodger Stadium? We’ve got you covered.

Here is our expertly curated list of the best ways to celebrate the team across Los Angeles, without needing tickets.

Where to Watch a Dodgers Game in Los Angeles

If you can’t get tickets, don’t worry—this town has plenty of options. Located half a mile from Dodger Stadium, The Short Stop is the place to be for both pre- and post-game activities (the post-game dance party is a must). With a disco-ball dance floor, a red-felt pool table, and a DJ, Short Stop stays open late, and is conveniently close to several great food options like Quarter Sheets pizza and For the Win burgers.

Across from the Los Angeles Zoo is the spacious Golden Road Brewing. Offering both table service and a fenced off bar-service section, with a small play area for littles, this ale house screens the game across their space and provides a big foam finger for fan photos.

The Greyhound Bar & Grill  in Highland Park also offers a "Blue Hour" happy hour special available only during Dodger games. For more guaranteed Dodgers watch parties check out the delightful dive bar Gold Room in Echo ParkGYM Bar West HollywoodBarney’s Beanery, and the local sports bar 33 Taps which has locations in West Hollywood, Downtown, Culver City, and Silver Lake.

Where to Get Great Dodgers Food Outside the Stadium

A number of restaurants in the Highland Park and Chinatown area, not far from the stadium, show Dodger pride in the form of food. Consider the blue-corn tortilla tacos at Villa’s Tacos (which has three locations: two in Highland Park and one at Grand Central Market, and don’t miss the “L.A.”-shaped churros at Santa Canela, best enjoyed alongside their fabulous conchas).

Want a sandwich? Philippe The Original—the Chinatown deli that boasts of having accidentally invented the French Dip sandwich in 1918—had long been serving up sandwiches when the Dodgers arrived in the 1950s, and quickly became a staple for pre- and post-game feasts. A little less than 2 miles from the stadium, you can pick up a sandwich and catch the Dodger Stadium Express bus—free on game days if you have a game ticket. And while you’re at it, step outside to marvel at the Mookie Betts and late Lakers star Kobe Bryant mural "We Will Rise Above" by Brian Peterson & Damin Lujan.

Even closer to the stadium is Chinatown pizza place La Sorted’s, named after legendary manager Tommy Lasorda and filled with memorabilia. Order the spicy-mustard-topped Tommy’s Way Hot Dog, or a themed pie: The Mookie comes with roasted mushrooms, mushroom cream, ricotta, and sliced garlic.

Take a moment at the flagship location of Villa’s Tacos to enjoy the mural depicting Dodger Freddie Freeman’s historic walk-off grand slam during the World Series in 2024.

Get a Breakfast Burrito at the Sandy Koufax Inspired Coffee Shop

With locations in Fairfax and Culver City, Cofax Coffee is partly named after the Dodgers’ legendary southpaw pitcher Sandy Koufax, who moved with the Dodgers from Brooklyn to L.A. and helped them win four World Series championships in 1955, 1959, 1963, and 1965. (To be fair, the moniker is also partially inspired by a combination of the words “coffee” and “Fairfax.”)

Beyond the Dodgers memorabilia on the walls, Cofax Coffee has earned its own street cred for its fantastic breakfast burritos, which regularly make Best of L.A. lists. Consider the simplicity-as-perfection Bacon variation—packed with tater tots, scrambled eggs, cheese, and pickled jalapeños—or the Pastrami, piled high with fried eggs, tater tots, jalapeños, and deli mustard.

Grab a Blue & White Cookie

The black-and-white cookie is a deli classic, and Belle’s Bagels in Highland Park has created a limited-time blue-and-white cookie in celebration of the Dodgers’ latest playoff win. While you’re there, also pick up a breakfast sandwich, bagel, or one of the nighttime noshes such as scallion latkes or matzo ball soup.

Take a Dodgers Mural Tour

If you’re planning on getting food in Chinatown at any of the nearby Dodgers institutions, take a quick tour of just a fraction of the countless baseball murals that pepper Los Angeles.

Start with the Shohei Ohtani mural on the side of Sushi Rush in Grand Central Market, and spend some time perusing the market. Six blocks away is the "LA Rising" mural painted by Robert Vargas on the side of the Miyako Hotel. It stands at 150 feet and has a QR code across the street that you can scan for an augmented reality experience.

Located on the corner of Lankershim and Burbank Boulevards on the Noho Tires & Wheels building, Kiké Hernandez’s mural honors both Hernandez and Fernando Valenzuela.

And these are just a smattering of the many Dodgers murals, so keep an eye out.

Take a Hike Above Dodgers Stadium

Elysian Park sits right next to the stadium—indeed, the space for the stadium was carved out of the park back in the 1950s. Today, fans gather here for tailgating, but you can also get your exercise paired with a view of the Chavez Ravine. Take the 2-mile West Loop trail for good views of the stadium and skyline or the longer 3-mile Angel’s Point hike for more big views.

Where to Buy Dodgers Merch

A go-to destination for Dodgers gear is the official Dodgers Clubhouse, with eight locations across the city. You can also visit the Dodgers Team Store, conveniently located inside Dodger Stadium and open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Check for Limited-Time Dodgers Pop Ups

Get your hands on some cool limited-time merch that will carry bragging rights for seasons to come. A few Dodgers hot spots—such as the Complex LA  space in the Fairfax District —host pop-ups like the spring 2025 collaboration between designer Takashi Murakami x MLB. Follow the Dodgers’ Clubhouse on Instagram for the latest opportunities at the Clubhouse or around L.A., like a recent Betty Boop x Dodgers merch pop-up.

Watch an Immersive Dodgers Game At Cosm

A new destination in Inglewood is redefining how fans experience the game—no stadium seat or sports bar required. Cosm Los Angeles features stadium-style seating that faces a massive domed screen, similar to the Sphere in Las Vegas, immersing you in the action with a view that’s more dynamic than watching at home.

Ticket prices typically start around $50 for dome seating, $30 for hall seats with tables and multiple screens, and $12 for standing room.

Enhance the experience with elevated concession fare like Wagyu smashburgers, poke tostadas, and giant pretzels. Beyond Dodgers games, Cosm also screens NFL matchups, college football, and soccer, as well as movies and Cirque du So
