Font's Point

Font's Point

Considered the definitive view in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Font’s Point commands the rugged Borrego Badlands east of Borrego Springs. To reach this overlook, you’ll want a four-wheel-drive vehicle to take on the four miles of rutted, sandy road that begins off State Highway 78. But it’s worth it: Once you arrive at Font’s Point, the views of what has been dubbed “California’s Grand Canyon” are absolutely spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset when the light best reveals the textures of this maze of golden hills and arroyos.
