8:30 - 12:30 pm CTTC Destination Day Forum Where: St. Regis Hotel
We invite you to attend the second annual CTTC Partner Day Forum, to be held on Tuesday, January 27 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at the San Francisco St. Regis Hotel. This day is strictly reserved for our current CVB partners and other partners that have an interest in extending their marketing efforts into the international arena.
You will have the opportunity to meet and hear from each of the seven CTTC international office representatives (Australia, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, Mexico, South Korea, and China.) They will review their 08/09 programming, share new in-country market research and give you a snapshot of their future marketing strategies. We hope that sharing this information and key initiatives for each country will help you understand our international marketing efforts moving forward, and encourage you to collaborate in the future.
We have formatted the partner day slightly different from last year. The morning will start off with breakfast and networking, followed by presentations given by CTTC’s international representatives, and a question & answer session. Please note that partner day will also be followed by a reception from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. (location to be determined), that you are invited to attend along with CTTC international office representatives and staff.
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to partnerday@visitcalifornia.com. Please respond by January 6, 2009 to reserve your space.

The 37-member CTTC is composed of individuals from all 12 regions of California. Members represent five principal industry sectors: Accommodations, Restaurants and Retail, Attractions and Recreation, Transportation and Travel Services, and the Passenger Car Rental Industry. Twenty-four of the commissioners are elected by the approximately 5,000 assessed California businesses; 12 are appointed by the governor; and the 37th is the California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency Secretary.
The number of seats for each industry sector changes based on assessment revenue. Currently, Accommodations holds 13 seats, Restaurants and Retail holds three seats, Attractions and Recreation holds two seats, Transportation and Travel Services holds one seat, and the Passenger Car Rental Industry holds five seats. The other 12 seats are established by region.
The statewide Marketing Advisory Committee provides input in developing the marketing plan and directs CTTC marketing efforts on behalf of the full Commission.
