SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER

Mickey's Halloween Party

There are no tricks at Micky’s Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom—only treats from Mickey and his gang at this annual festival at Disneyland Resort. Throughout September and October, Main Street is dressed up in pumpkin orange, and special features and surprises are added to the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain and other attractions. But guests at this special Halloween-themed party, offered on select nights during the spooky season, get extra experiences, all designed to deliver friendly thrills rather than scare-your-socks-off terror. (And even if tickets are sold out, there’s still plenty of Halloween fun to be had.)

Dress up your little ones (and yourself) and grab some pics with Disney characters, including legendary villains such as Cruella de Vil. Enjoy special treats and healthy goodies at Trick-or-Treat Stations, and keep an eye out for the Headless Horseman as he leads the Frightfully Fun Parade down Main Street on a black steed, carved pumpkin in hand. Have fun at a lively dance party, with music and family-friendly activities. And look up to see boo-tiful fireworks during your exclusive after-dark event, Halloween Screams.

The Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square gets its own special Halloween treatment, of course, in the form of a macabre makeover inspired by Tim Burton’s classic The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie and other characters will be roaming around, making mischief as you ramble around the mysterious manor in a Gloom Buggy. And at Space Mountain, that year-round exploiter of the dark, things get just a little bit spookier with the Ghost Galaxy edition of the ride. Should you accept the mission to investigate Space Station 77’s abnormal—possibly paranormal?—readings, you’ll embark on an endeavour that will undoubtedly lead to thrills that are truly 'out there'.
