See a Show Under the Stars

Enjoy the music, and the atmosphere at the Hollywood Bowl , the largest outdoor amphitheater in the United States.

For over 70 years, the Hollywood Bowl has been home to some of the most memorable moments in California history. The bowl has hosted symphonies, operas, ballet, rock concerts, and presidential addresses. Each season, the best in jazz, classical, Broadway, world music, and more perform, from Diana Krall, John Williams, Nancy Wilson, and Arcade Fire. During the summer The Los Angeles Philharmonic calls the Bowl home.

The bowl is open free to the public during the day, when you can stop into the free Hollywood Bowl Museum to learn more about its history, or tour the grounds, but the best way to experience the magic of the bowl is to grab a picnic – bring your own or purchase one when you get there – and take in a performance under the stars.

A bit of trivia: The Beatles were the first rock and roll band to play the Hollywood Bowl, on August 23, 1964.
