Portuguese Cuisine Hits LaSalette

Portuguese cuisine is at the heart of the menu at the Sonoma Valley's LaSalette Restaurant .

Thanks to Chef Michael Azvedo, the circa-2002 restaurant serves up a vibrant mix of flavors, as dishes mix ingredients from Europe, Asia, Africa and India. Among the popular menu items are the cod (known in Portuguese as "bacalhau") and the feijoada (black bean stew). Go early on weekends, as the place tends to fill up quickly.
