McCloud: A Natural Paradise

The area surrounding McCloud has it all: Hiking Trails, waterfalls, and, of course, swimming holes.

Visit in spring and watch kayakers negotiate the rapids of the swollen McCloud river. Alternately, spend a day hiking to the three waterfalls along the river and marvel in their beauty. There's great fishing at McCloud Lake, and world-class dancing events (think square dancing howdowns) at McCloud Dance Country downtown.
